P. Vernon Erwin, DDS Dr. Erwin has practiced dentistry for more than 37 years and is considered one of America’s foremost experts on rejuvenation dentistry. A 1967 graduate of the Loma Linda University College of Dentistry, he continued his post-graduate education with advanced residencies in Surgery, Implants, Aesthetics, Advanced Reconstruction, Head and Jaw Pain, and Nutrition at UCLA and USC, as well as Loma Linda. Dr. Erwin also holds a Masters of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Human Nutrition from Bridgeport University and has completed additional studies in Acupuncture, Trigger Point Therapy and other complementary Biological therapies. A former instructor of dentistry and basic sciences at both USC and Loma Linda, Dr. Erwin is a lifetime member of the American Dental Association and California Dental Association. He is also a member of currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, San Fernando Dental Society, International Academy of Biological Dentistry and Medicine, Holistic Dental Association and the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.
Dr. Erwin has, in fact, been a student of healthful living his whole life long. Even in his earliest years, his mother taught him Natural Hygiene principles and the dietary lifestyle that had served her own health needs since she was 18 years old. (She is now 93 years of age and still maintains her garden.) Dr. Erwin carried on the tradition by rearing his children by those same principles. He continues to maintain a healthful lifestyle and educates and encourages his clients to practice a healthy lifestyle of their choice.
A continuous student, Dr. Erwin regularly takes extensive study with national and international physicians and dentists to incorporate advances in health research and practice principles into his practice and life.

Cheryl has been a part of Dr. Erwin's team almost from the very start. In 1992, after sixteen years working in our exam rooms and lab, she moved to the front where she continues to run our office's daily business. Thoroughly understanding all aspects of the practice, Cheryl takes great satisfaction in serving Dr. Erwin's clientele and admires the doctor's own tireless commitment in keeping up to date with biological dentistry's latest developments and providing his patients with exceptional care.
Karina is a Bryman College graduate in Dental Assisting who has worked for Dr. Erwin since 2005. Though you're most likely to see her assisting the doctor at chair-side, you may also see her at work in the front office or lab, as we are each part of a team committed to you and your health. Karina especially enjoys working with the wide variety of patients we see, from those seeking cosmetic dentistry to those having toxic dental materials replaced with biocompatible alternatives.
Lisette has been a part of Dr. Erwin's team since 1998. She, too, is a Bryman graduate in Dental Assisting and works in all areas of our office. A lifelong learner, she regularly builds upon her skills and knowledge with further training, keeping up to date with the rapid changes in this field. She highly values the personal approach of Dr. Erwin and his commitment to practicing the most natural, least invasive type of dentistry possible.
Theresa is our Registered Dental Hygienist and Oral Health Educator. A graduate of USC, she has been a part of Dr. Erwin's team from the very beginning. She takes great satisfaction in seeing patients holistically regain their health as she works with them, providing their regular hygiene and showing them how to take control of their total health through improved dental health. Theresa deeply admires Dr. Erwin's commitment to treating the whole person and is proud to be a part of his practice's mission.
Jane Erwin, RN Jane - or, as most know her, "Jena" - is a registered nurse with 48 years of practice to her credit. Married to Dr. Erwin, she has studied with him for more than 30 years, attending 95% of the seminars he has attended. As staff support, Jena aids in bringing scientific understanding, practical application, personal healing experience and spiritual awareness for expanded service to clients.
